Anaheim, California – A video clip shows a 20-year-old man being slammed by a coach at a high school football game in Orange County, California.
The video, taken by a parent in the stands, shows the man running across Glover Stadium in a game between Kennedy High School and Katella High School. The man was chased by a coach from the opposing team.
The man was holding a sign with explicit language, but he did not threaten anyone when the coach brought him down.
It doesn’t look like the guy was injured or the coach was disciplined.
Anaheim police say the man was released after being warned.
His name has not been released, but police say he was not a student at either school.
The APD says the department will pursue the matter with the Anaheim District Attorney’s Office, which will determine whether the charges are applicable in the case.
